Abstract:
Disclosed are an electric power modem pairing method and an electric power modem, used to increase the privacy and security of a network. The method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a first electric power modem receiving a networking request message sent by a second electric power modem; the first electric power modem determining, according to the networking request message, whether the first electric power modem and the second electric power modem meet a pre-set pairing condition; when the first electric power modem and the second electric power modem meet the pre-set pairing condition, the first electric power modem and the second electric power modem determining a target network membership key (NMK) code; and the first electric power modem being paired with the second electric power modem according to the target NMK code.
