Abstract:
Provided is an electric power monitoring device comprising a plurality of low-order monitoring units for monitoring the electric power usage state within a monitoring area, and a high-order monitoring unit capable of performing information communication with each of the plurality of low-order monitoring units, the high-order monitoring unit receiving usage information that is information relating to the electric power usage state from one or more low-order monitoring units, creating, on the basis of the received usage information, induction information that is information for inducing a user to take a power-saving action, and transmitting the created induction information to the one or more low-order monitoring units, said high-order monitoring unit creating the induction information such that personal information or business information relating to the user of the low-order monitoring unit which has provided the usage information to the high-order monitoring unit is not included in the created induction information.
