Abstract:
An electric power steering device, wherein problems relating to heat emission due to ON resistance occur when a semiconductor switching element for opening and closing a current conduit between a battery and a bridge circuit is used, and a configuration is accordingly adopted such that when the difference between the gate voltage and the source voltage of the semiconductor switching element is at or below a prescribed value, current flowing through the semiconductor switching element is limited.
