Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric power steering device in which even when there has been a steering intervention performed by a driver while in automated steering, manual steering is implemented and stability is further ensured during emergency steering by the driver, and by which both assist control and steering control are achieved. [Solution] The present invention is provided with a steering angle control unit which calculates a steering angle control current command value for controlling a steering angle, wherein the steering angle control unit is provided with: a position control unit which calculates a basic steering speed command value; a steering intervention correction unit which obtains a corrected steering speed command value; and a steering speed control unit which calculates a steering angle control current command value from the basic steering speed command value, the corrected steering speed command value and an actual steering speed. The steering intervention correction unit is provided with a correction gain unit which multiplies a steering intervention correction gain with a steering torque, obtains a corrected steering speed command value from the steering torque by using the correction gain unit, and calculates a current command value by using at least the steering control current command value.
