Abstract:

In this electric power steering device, a motor comprises a first motor winding and a second motor winding, and a control unit comprises a first power module that supplies current to the first motor winding, a first control board that outputs a control signal to the first power module, a second power module that supplies current to the second motor winding, a second control board that outputs a control signal to the second power module, and a heat sink. The heat sink has a column part that: is arranged on a line that is an extension of the shaft center of an output shaft of the motor; and comprises a plurality of arrangement parts that comprise flat surfaces that are parallel in the axial direction of the output shaft. The first control board and the second control board are respectively arranged along a pair of facing arrangement parts, and the first power module and the second power module are respectively arranged along another pair of facing arrangement parts.
