Abstract:
In this electric power steering device, a constituent element of a control unit for controlling one of two sets of windings in a motor and a constituent element of a control unit for controlling the other set of the winding are arranged either in a point symmetry with respect to the axial center of an output shaft or in a line symmetry with respect to a virtual straight line orthogonal to the direction in which the output shaft extends.
