Abstract:
An electric power steering device (100) is provided with a steering shaft (20); an electric motor (50) that provides rotational torque to the steering shaft (20); a deceleration part (42) that transmits rotation of the electric motor (50) to the steering shaft (20); a worm housing (44) that houses the deceleration part (42); and a housing (34, 52, 54) flange-coupled to the worm housing (44), wherein a coupling portion of the worm housing (44) and the housing (34, 52, 54) is provided with a seal part (72), a facing part (74) located radially outward from the seal part (72) where the worm housing (44) and the housing (34, 52, 54) are located close to or in contact with one another, and a separation part (76) located radially outward of the facing part (74) where the worm housing (44) and the housing (34, 52, 54) are separated; and the separation part (76) contains a sealant (78).
