Abstract:
Provided is an electric power supply device in which a transition portion of a wire harness is caused to smoothly follow movement of a sliding door, and in which a door-side unit is made difficult for passengers to notice. An annular inner wall surface (133) of a rotor-holding unit (132) in a door-side unit (13) of this electric power supply device (1) is characterized by being provided with: a first recessed surface (133a) for receiving a rotating shaft (131b) of a rotor (131) in a first orientation when the door is completely closed; a second recessed surface (133b) for receiving the rotating shaft (131b) during alternating rotation between a second orientation in which the transition portion (11a) is tilted toward the vehicle-body side when the door is opened and a third orientation when the door is completely open; and a third recessed surface (133c) that, when the door is opened, first receives a distal-end part (131c-1) of a projection (131c) from the rotating shaft (131b) during rotation from the first orientation to the second orientation, and next extricates the distal-end part (131c-1) of the projection (131c) during rotation from the second orientation to the third orientation.
