Abstract:
Disclosed is an electric power supply system which makes a stable electric power supply possible regardless of changes in electrode arrangement conditions. The electric power supply system supplies electric power across a load (24); a fixed body (10) is equipped with a first electric transmission electrode (12) and a second electric transmission electrode (13) as well as an alternating-current power source (11) which supplies alternating-current power to the first electric transmission electrode (12) and the second electric transmission electrode (13); a mobile body (20) is equipped with a first electric reception electrode (21a) and a second electric reception electrode (21b) which are arranged so as to face but not contact the first electric transmission electrode (12) and the second electric transmission electrode (13) with a boundary surface therebetween so as to form a first coupling capacitor (30) and a second coupling capacitor (31), and is also equipped with a first capacitor (22a) and a first inductor (22b) which are connected in parallel with each other between the first electric reception electrode (21a) and the second electric reception electrode (21b); and the alternating-current power source (11) which transmits power to the load (24) with the condition that parallel resonance is generated in the first capacitor (22a) and the first inductor (22b).
