Abstract:
The present disclosure addresses the problem of improving the usability of an electric power tool. An electric power tool (1) comprises: a motor (15); a manipulation unit (29) for accepting a manipulation from a user; a control unit (4) for controlling a rotating operation of the motor (15), in accordance with the manipulation of the manipulation unit (29), using vector control; a transmission mechanism (18) for transmitting a rotation force of the motor (15) to a tip tool that performs work on an object to be worked on; and a housing for accommodating at least the motor (15) and the transmission mechanism (18). The control unit (4) has a detection function (movement detection unit 49) for detecting, on the basis of at least one of a torque current and an exciting current supplied to the motor (15), a steep movement of the housing with respect to the object to be worked on.
