Abstract:
An adapter is provided with a connector section that is attachable/detachable to/from a main body of an electric power tool, and at least one battery receiving section to which a battery pack is attachable/detachable. A battery pack mounted onto the battery receiving section is electrically connected to the main body of the electric power tool that is mounted onto the connector section, via a power supplying circuit of the adapter. The adapter is provided with a measurement unit for measuring an indicator corresponding to the charged level of the battery pack, and a reception unit for receiving an alarm signal outputted by the battery pack, and can cancel or limit supply of power to the main body of the electric power tool according to both a measurement value measured by the measurement unit and an alarm signal that was received.
