Abstract:
An adapter for an electric power tool can connect a battery pack to an electric power tool electrically. The adapter is equipped with a voltage control circuit that is interposed between the battery pack and the electric power tool. The voltage control circuit can adjust the voltage to be supplied from the battery pack to the electric power tool at a level corresponding to the rated voltage of the electric power tool. The voltage control circuit can increase the voltage to be supplied from the battery pack to the electric power tool to a voltage higher than the nominal voltage of the battery pack.
