Abstract:
An electric power transmission system that uses electric field coupling to transmit electric power from a power transmitting device to a power receiving device. When the cross capacitance that is generated between electrodes of the power transmitting device and the power receiving device is represented as C14, C15, C16, C25, C26, C35, C36, C45, C46, the capacitance between active electrodes (12, 24) is represented as CA, and the capacitance between passive electrodes (13, 23) is represented as CP, the electric power transmission system satisfies formula (1) and formula (2). Thereby provided is an electric power supply system that, when a power receiving device is mounted on a power transmitting device, can stabilize the reference potential of the power transmitting device and the power receiving device.
