Abstract:
Provided is an electric-powered construction machine capable of traveling from a work site to a charging facility and capable of suppressing a reduction in work efficiency. An electric-powered hydraulic shovel comprises: an electric motor (28) that is driven by power from a battery device (19) and drives a hydraulic pump (29); a controller (37); and a display device (24). The controller (37) calculates and stores a power consumption amount of the electric motor (28) which is consumed between departure of the hydraulic shovel from a charging facility until arrival at a work site, on the basis of hydraulic shovel movement information acquired by a movement information acquisition device. The controller (37): calculates an amount of power which can be consumed at the work site, by subtracting the power consumption amount from a storage amount of the battery device (19); calculates time for which operation is possible at the work site, on the basis of the amount of power which can be consumed at the work site; and displays, on the display device (24), the time for which operation is possible at the work site.
