Abstract:
An electric-powered system using a power storage apparatus is made to be an inexpensive and highly-reliable system, which does not require a management apparatus for managing charging/discharging. The electric-powered system (1) is provided with an electric-powered driving apparatus (2), an electric double-layer capacitor (6), a DC power-generation apparatus (5), and a driver (20). The driver (20) has built therein: a rectifying circuit (21); and an output circuit (22) for converting DC power not lower than a lower-limit voltage to power that is able to drive the electric-powered driving apparatus (2), and outputting the converted power. An upper-limit voltage (E1) for the voltage to be supplied to the electric double-layer capacitor (6) is controlled by an upper-limit voltage controlling function of the DC power-generation apparatus (5), and power from the DC power-generation apparatus (5), the electric double-layer capacitor (6), or from an external AC power supply is supplied to the electric-powered driving apparatus (2) by the output circuit (22) of the driver (20), such that the voltage of the electric double-layer capacitor (6) will not become lower than a lower-limit voltage (E2).
