Abstract:
A hand-held electric-powered screw tightening tool has a configuration in which a battery pack is mounted to the leading end of a handle part provided so as to project from a side part of a tool body. The battery pack has conventionally been configured to be mounted in a space below a switch body. Therefore, a space behind or above the switch body has not been effectively used, and has become an empty space. The purpose of the present invention is to effectively use the empty space in the handle part.
A conventional empty space is effectively used by housing a battery cell (14) not only in a space (SP0) below a switch body (13) housed in a base section of a handle part (11) but also in a space (SP1) behind the switch body (13).
