Abstract:
The electric powered work machine in one aspect of the present disclosure is provided with: a main conduction path; a drive unit provided with a motor and at least one first semiconductor switching element; a control unit; a bypass conduction path; a second semiconductor switching element; and a switch drive unit. The main conduction path is provided between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a battery. The drive unit is provided in the main conduction path. The bypass conduction path is provided in parallel with the drive unit. The second semiconductor switching element is provided in the bypass conduction path. If the voltage value of the drive voltage applied to the drive unit is less than a threshold, the switch drive unit isolates the bypass conduction path using the second semiconductor switching element, and if the voltage value thereof is at or above the threshold, the switch drive unit conducts electricity through the bypass conduction path using the second semiconductor switching element.
