Abstract:
An electric pressure welding method according to the present invention involves joining a first metal member and a second metal member, which can be mechanically fastened to each other, by using an electric pressure welding device including a pressure-applying part for applying pressure to the first metal member and a fixing part disposed to contact the second metal member. The electric pressure welding method includes: a mechanical fastening step for mechanically fastening the first metal member to the second metal member; an electrode part connection step for connecting an electrode part to the second metal member and the first metal member mechanically fastened to the second metal member; and an electric pressure welding step for electric pressure welding the first metal member and the second metal member by applying a current to the electrode part and applying pressure to the first metal member with the pressure-applying part.
