Abstract:
Disclosed is a device that advances a pressure-applying electrode (19, 105) along a steel plate component (48, 131), applying pressure to a welding protrusion (4) on a shaft-shaped component (1), and welds the shaft-shaped component (1) to the steel plate component (48, 131) by means of electric resistance welding. A pressure-storage means (22, 128) that stores pressure from the pressure-applying electrode (19, 105) is disposed between a pressure-applying member (17, 106) and a pressure-receiving member (18, 121). A detection means (54, 113, 3) is provided that operates at a prescribed position of the pressure-applying member (17, 106) and feeds a welding current to the electrode. Also provided is a pressure-adjustment means (55, 123) that adjusts the position at which the detection means (54, 113, 3) operates.
