Abstract:
Provided are an electric rice cooker and control method thereof; said electric rice cooker comprises a heater, and the control method comprises the following steps: receiving a cooking instruction inputted by a user (S101); according to the cooking instruction, controlling the heater to heat at a first average power (S102); obtaining a boiling detection parameter inside the electric rice cooker and determining whether the boiling detection parameter reaches a preset threshold value (S103); if the boiling detection parameter has reached the preset threshold value, then controlling the heater to heat at second and third average powers in an alternating manner until cooking is complete (S104). The control method accomplishes effective automatic control of cooking power, not only satisfying user requirements with regard to rice bran oil, but also effectively preventing overflow during cooking.
