Abstract:
An electric rice cooker and rice cooking control method thereof. The electric rice cooker comprises: a cooker body, a cooker lid (4), a heating device, a detector (2) and a pressure relief device (1). The pressure relief device (1) is configured to maintain the pressure inside of a cooking chamber below a nominal pressure PNominal, and is configured to force the cooking chamber to exhaust at least twice or more times when the detector (2) detects that the temperature of the liquid inside of the cooking chamber is elevated to a sudden boiling temperature TSuddenBoiling and/or the pressure inside of the cooking chamber is increased to a sudden boiling pressure PSuddenBoiling, so as to reduce the pressure in the cooking chamber gradually and make the liquid in the cooking chamber to be suddenly boiled at least twice or more times, wherein TSuddenBoiling ≤ TBoiling, PSuddenBoiling ≤ PNominal, and TBoiling is the boiling temperature when the liquid in the cooking chamber is at the nominal pressure PNominal.
