Disclosed is an inner cover assembly. The inner cover assembly comprises an inner cover body (51) and a snap element (52) for being snap-fitted to an outer cover assembly, wherein the snap element (52) is slidably mounted on the inner cover main body (51) and is connected to a return spring (53) for biasing the snap element (52) to a snap-fitting position in a sliding direction, a leading-in surface (52a) and a leading-out surface (52b) are correspondingly formed on two sides of the snap element (52), and the leading-in face (52a) and the leading-out face (52b) obliquely extend relative to the plane that the snap element (52) slides in in such a way that the two approach each other in a sliding direction towards the snap-fit position, such that the inner cover assembly can be snap-fitted to the outer cover assembly or removed from same by axially pulling or pressing the inner cover body (51). The inner cover assembly is convenient to disassemble and assemble, and it can be determined whether the inner cover assembly is installed in place by means of a "click" generated by collision with the snap element (52). Further disclosed is an electric rice cooker.
