An electric self-balancing vehicle (100), the electric self-balancing vehicle (100) comprising a vehicle body (110), wheels (120) fixed on the vehicle body (110) and a retractable device (200) provided on the vehicle body (110); the retractable device (200) comprises a retractable chamber (111) provided on the vehicle body (110) and a retractable member (210) which may retractably move in the retractable chamber (111); when the retractable member (210) extends outwardly from the retractable chamber (111), a part of the retractable member (210) is located outside of the vehicle body (110). The retractable device (200) on the electric self-balancing vehicle (100) is retractable on the vehicle body (110). When the retractable member (210) extends from the retractable chamber (111), part of the retractable member (210) is located outside the vehicle body (110), which is convenient for placing articles on the retractable member (210), especially when a user shops in a shopping mall using the electric self-balancing vehicle (100), wherein the user may place purchased articles directly onto the retractable member (210) without needing to use an additional basket or backpack to carry such articles. The electric self-balancing vehicle (100) is not only convenient for user transportation, but also makes transporting articles convenient for the user.
