Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an electric shaver that is capable of detecting the property of body hair precisely even in the case where the body hair is white in color. An electric shaver (100) according to the present disclosure comprises a grip part (110) and a head part (120) connected to one end of the grip part (110). The electric shaver (100) is provided with: an imaging device (131) that captures an image of the vicinity of the skin with which a shaving part (121) comes into contact; an illuminating device (160) that is capable of irradiating the area to be imaged by the imaging device (131) with light beams from different directions; and an image processing device that processes an image obtained by the imaging device (131). The image processing device comprises: an imaging control unit which controls the illuminating device (160) and the imaging device (131) so as to execute imaging by individually emitting light beams in different directions; and a property information generation unit which generates property information indicative of the property of the body hair on the basis of an image captured by the imaging device (131).
