Abstract:
Provided are an electric shock protection device and a portable electronic device having same. An electric shock protection device, according to an embodiment of the present invention, is placed between an internal circuit unit and a conductor, of an electronic device, which can come in contact with the human body, enables static electricity to pass through without dielectric breakdown when the static electricity flows in from the conductor, and, so as to block a leakage current of an external power source which flows in from a grounding of the circuit unit, satisfies the following formula: Vbr > Vin, wherein Vbr is the yield voltage of the electric shock protection device and Vin is the rated voltage of the external power source of the electronic device.
