Abstract:
The present invention is an electric steering lock device which is for a saddle riding vehicle, and in which a lock pin that can move linearly between a lock position and an unlock position and a slider that can move in the same direction as the lock pin are movably supported on a casing; and an elastic member that is installed between the lock pin and the slider and an electric motor that produces a motive force for driving the slider are accommodated in the casing, wherein an increase in size is avoided and the position of the lock pin is reliably detected. A first interlocking member 72 that is interlocked with the lock pin 19 and that moves in the same direction as the lock pin 19, and a second interlocking member 73 that is interlocked with the first interlocking member 72 and that moves in a direction orthogonal to the movement direction of the lock pin 19 and the first interlocking member 72, are supported on the casing 18 in a movable manner, and a switch 74 that detects the position of the second interlocking member 73 is attached to the casing 18.
