Abstract:
Provided is an electric storage device which is readily formed by stacking multiple layers and has a high volume/capacitance ratio, and also provided is a method for manufacturing the electric storage device. The electric storage device comprises: a layered body which has provided therein a separator layer between a first pole which is one of a positive pole or a negative pole and a second pole which is the other of the positive pole and the negative pole; an electrolyte; and a package which stores the layered body and the electrolyte. The electric storage device includes at least two first pole compound sheets formed by integrating as one unit a first pole collector electrode, a first pole active layer provided on one main surface of the first pole collector electrode, and a separator layer covering at least part of said main surface. The other main surface of the first pole collector electrode of one first pole compound sheet of the at least two first pole compound sheets and the other main surface of the first pole collector electrode of the other first pole compound sheet are bonded facing each other.
