Abstract:
A motor stator (24) comprises a stator iron core (24a) and a stator winding (24b)
and a mold member (30) with a high heat conductivity in which the core and the winding
are buried. The mold member (30) has a heat insulation layer (32) firmly stuck
to its inner surface surrounding the motor rotor (22) and its axial outer surfaces.
The motor stator further includes an outer sleeve (26) firmly stuck to the outer
peripheral surface of the mold member (30) and to the inner surface of a bearing
housing (16) and constituting a liquid-tight water-cooled jacket (26b) between
itself and the bearing housing.
