Abstract:

Provided is an electric supercharger in which a bearing-holding mechanism has improved ease of assembly. An electric motor (30) of an electric supercharger (101) has a shaft (22). A second bearing (24) rotatably supports the shaft (22). The second bearing (24) is provided with an outer ring (24a) and an inner ring (24b) capable of rotating relative to each other. A second bearing sleeve (26) supports the outer ring (24a) as a fixed ring. A key ring (51) positions the outer ring (24a) relative to the second bearing sleeve (26). A preload spring (52) urges the key ring (51) toward the outer ring (24a) or the second bearing sleeve (26).
