Abstract:
This electric supercharger comprises: an electric motor that drives and rotates a rotary blade; a motor housing that houses therein the electric motor; a control unit that is arranged outside the motor housing and that controls the drive of the electric motor; and a current carrying mechanism that supplies a current from the control unit to the electric motor via a through hole which links the interior and exterior of the motor housing. The current carrying mechanism includes: a rod hermetically sealed in a state where the same is inserted through the through hole; a connector connected to at least one end of the rod; and a bus bar connected to the connector. The connector accommodates relative positional misalignment of the rod with respect to the connector.
