Provided are an electric tool housing and an electric tool. The housing comprises: at least one first housing element (11) arranged on the upper end of a drive system unit (20) and part of a handle (30), and at least one second housing element (12) arranged on the lower end of the drive system unit (20) and part of the handle (30), with the first housing element (11) being connected to the second housing element (12) along a contact line (13), wherein the first housing element (11) and/or the second housing element (12) is/are provided with a first through-hole (14), and the first through-hole (14) is used for arranging an adjustment element (51) therein; and the contact line (13) is arranged away from the first through-hole (14). By means of arranging the contact line in the electric tool housing away from the adjustment element (51), the smoothness of the adjustment element (51) during shifting being insufficient as a result of a gap of the boundary in the housing becoming larger due to frequent use of the adjustment element (51) can be prevented, thereby ensuring the smooth operation of the adjustment element (51) when in use.
