Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the consumption of electric power by causing the electromagnetic force of a linear motor to effectively act on the movement of a front end tool.
This electric tool (10) provided with a linear motor comprises: a linear motor (20) configured from a mover and an iron core on which a coil is wound and reciprocating the mover relative to the iron core by an electromagnetic force; a front end tool (12) connected to the mover and capable of reciprocation; and a controller (30) configured so that the controller (30) can control the electromagnetic force of the linear motor (20) in response to the reciprocation. The electric tool (10) is also provided with a spring (16) connected to the mover and pressing the mover in the direction toward a predetermined position of the reciprocation of the mover. While the mover is being moved, the controller (30) performs control so that the direction of the electromagnetic force of the linear motor (20) coincides with the direction of movement of the mover.
