Abstract:
A cooling technique for an electric tool, enabling the motor and a high temperature region of the tool to be cooled with improved cooling performance.
An electric tool is provided with a tool body (103) and a motor (111) contained in the tool body (103) and performs predetermined work on a workpiece by driving by the motor (111) a tip tool (119) provided to the tip region of the tool body (103). A motor-cooling air path (137) for allowing motor-cooling air to flow therethrough is provided within the tool body (103). The motor-cooling air path (137) and a high-temperature region (108) spaced from the motor-cooling air path (137) are interconnected by a heat pipe (131), and this allows heat in the high-temperature region (108) to be transferred to the motor-cooling air path (137), cooling the high-temperature region (108).
