Abstract:
An electric tool (10) has a device housing (21), a brushless motor (31), a cooling fan (37), and a dust protective structure (60). The device housing (21) is gripped by the user and has an air suction opening (25) formed therein. The brushless motor (31) is mounted within the device housing (21). The cooling fan (37) is rotated by the brushless motor (31) to generate motor cooling air stream and sucks air into the device housing (21) from the air suction opening (25) utilizing the motor cooling air stream. The dust protective structure (60) is provided between the air suction opening (25) and the brushless motor (31) and is configured so as to remove, within the device housing (21), dust from air.
