Abstract:
In the present invention, the size of an electric tool is reduced by providing a large radiating means to a switching element and efficiently arranging the radiating means and the switching element in a grip part of a housing. An electric tool having: a brushless motor 5; a cooling fan 10; a housing 2 for accommodating the motor 5 and the cooling fan 10, the housing 2 extending in a rotational axis direction; a control board 31 arranged so as to intersect with the axial direction; and a switch 7 for switching rotation of the motor on or off; wherein a plurality of switching elements 33, 35 for controlling conduction of electricity to the motor are arranged between the switch and the control board, and a shared heat sink 40 in contact with the plurality of switching elements is provided. The heat sink is a thick plate made of a light metal and is arranged so as to extend in the rotational axis direction in a direction orthogonal to the control board, and the switching elements are fixed to one side and the other side of the heat sink.
