Abstract:
Provided is an electric tool equipped with a brushless motor- and drive circuit-cooling structure. The electric tool comprises a brushless motor, a housing with a motor-housing section for housing the motor, a fan driven by the motor to generate cooling air inside the housing, and a drive circuit for controlling the driving of the motor. The housing comprises an air intake vent, a discharge vent provided near the air intake vent, and an air channel demarcated between the two vents for cooling the brushless motor and the drive circuit using cooling air. The discharge vent and/or the air channel discharges the cooling air discharged from the discharge vent to the outside of the housing in a direction away from the air intake vent.
