Abstract:
In order to provide an electric tool capable of suppressing variations in motor characteristics between external power supplies having different voltages, and of suppressing increases in the size of the electric tool itself, this electric tool is provided with: a motor including a stator around which a plurality of windings are wound, and a rotor capable of rotating relative to the stator; an output portion driven by the rotation of the rotor; a power supply connecting portion capable of being connected to an external power supply serving as a drive source for the motor; a power supply voltage detecting means for detecting the voltage of the external power supply connected to the power supply connecting portion; and an electrical connection varying means for varying a scheme for electrically connecting the windings to one another in accordance with the voltage of the external power supply.
