Abstract:
Provided is an electric tool that is more convenient than those in which the switching frequency of the switching element is constant regardless of load. The electric tool (1) is provided with a motor (10), an FET (12) for controlling electric conduction to the motor (10), a microcomputer (20) for controlling the ON-OFF of the FET (12), and a current detection circuit (15) for detecting the current flowing to the motor (10). When the current to the motor (10) is at a threshold or higher, the microcomputer (20) reduces the switching frequency of the FET (12) below when the current to the motor (10) is less than the threshold.
