Abstract:
Provided is an electric tool which can be suitably controlled depending on which one among an adaptor device and a battery pack is connected. This electric tool (1) is provided with a motor (6), a control circuit (10) for controlling the motor (6), and a power source connection part (2a) which enables the selective connection of a battery pack (20) or an adaptor device connected to an AC power source. The control circuit (10) does not perform a braking control after a switch (7) has been operated for stopping the electric tool when the adapter device is connected to the power source connection part (2a), and performs the braking control after the switch (7) has been operated for stopping the electric tool when the battery pack (20) is connected to the power source connection part (2a).
