Abstract:
A brush body (20) is provided with: bristle bunches (30) each comprising a plurality of filaments (40); and an implantation base (22) that affixes said bristle bunches (30). In each bristle bunch (30), the filaments are folded over in middle sections with respect to the lengths thereof, and a flat wire (32) is used to clamp the fold sections (31) in place in an insertion hole (23) in the implantation base (22). Each filament (40) is provided with a core (41), which contains an electrically conductive material, and an insulating sheath (42), which covers said core (41). A tip-exposure section (41A) in which the core (41) is exposed from the sheath (42) is formed on each end of each filament (40). Middle exposed sections (41B) in which the core (41) is exposed from the sheath (42) are formed in middle sections of the filaments (40).
