Abstract:
An electric toothbrush, comprising a brush holder (1), a connection member (2), a brush head (3), and a brush rod (4). The brush head (3) is connected to the brush rod by means of the connection member (2); brush hair (31) of the brush head (3) is in a rotatory spiral shape. A liquid pipe (41) is provided inside the brush rod (4) of the electric toothbrush; a cheek protection cover (42) is provided above the brush head (3) of the brush rod (4); the liquid pipe (41) is provided with liquid outlet holes (43) at the inner wall of the cheek protection cover (42); a liquid inlet port is provided at the tail of the brush rod (4) of the liquid pipe (41); the liquid inlet port is connected to a pressurized liquid supplier or a household water valve by means of a connecting pipe. By designing the brush hair (31) into a rotatory spiral shape, the electric toothbrush implements an operating manner that the brush hair (31) may rotate about a horizontal axis line, thereby yielding an obvious vertical brushing effect during tooth brushing. Moreover, in combination with an oral healthcare fluid sprayed or washed out of the liquid outlet holes (43) of the brush rod (4), foreign matters on gingivae and teeth and in diastema can be cleaned; the degree of automation of the electric toothbrush is further improved, making tooth brushing an enjoying process.
