An electric toothbrush, relating to the field of electric toothbrush structures, particularly the improvement of a brush head driving mechanism. The electric toothbrush comprises: a brush head (1), a brush handle (2), a driving mechanism (3), and a battery (4). The brush head (1) is connected to one end of the brush handle (2). The driving mechanism (3) connects the brush head (1) and the battery (4) and drives the rotation of the brush head (1). One end of two elastic plates (35) is fixedly connected to one side of a sliding block (32) facing away from an electric magnet (31), and the other end thereof is respectively fixedly connected to two sides of the center of a rotatory seat (33). A position-limiting component (34) is connected to the brush handle (2) and the rotatory seat (33) or the elastic plates (35) for preventing the elastic plates (35) from moving along a length direction of the brush handle (2). The angle of inclusion between the two elastic plates (35) is an acute angle. The electric toothbrush as a whole has the advantages of a compact structure, good stability, good tooth-cleaning effect, low manufacturing costs and low application costs.
