Abstract:
Disclosed is an electric trimmer (100) provided with a clamp lever (36) which clamps a trimmer body (10) by rotating in the direction approaching a base (20) within a plane parallel to the axial direction of the trimmer body (10), and unclamps the trimmer body (10) by rotating in the direction away from the base (10); and a clamping force adjustment mechanism which adjusts a clamping force between the trimmer body (10) and the base (20) when the trimmer body (10) is clamped by rotating the clamp lever (36). Therefore, an operator can easily grasp the electric trimmer (100), and the clamping force of the base (20) to the trimmer body (10) can be appropriately adjusted.
