Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a first battery and a second battery that are chargeable/dischargeable; a motor that outputs torque for driving a wheel by electric power supplied from the first battery; a power switch that is connected at one end to the second battery and is turned on or off in accordance with a key operation performed by a user; a start switch that is turned on or off in accordance with a user's operation; a notification unit which notifies the user that a vehicle can travel; and a control unit that is connected to the first battery, the motor, the other end of the power switch, the start switch, and the notification unit, wherein the control unit is started up by power supplied from the second battery when the power switch is turned on, performs, when the start switch is turned on after the activation, control so as to supply power from the first battery to the motor and controls the notification unit so as to notify that the vehicle can travel, and, when the power switch is turned off, is not provided with power from the second battery.
