Abstract:
In order to perform a beating motion and a brush-up motion without having to provide extra space within a vacuum cleaner body, an electric vacuum cleaner (1) is provided with a rotating brush (4) wherein brush members (4c) are inserted between two adjacent protrusions (4e) of a brush base part (4d), and the rotating brush (4) is provided with beating members (4b) that have an insertion part (4f), which is inserted between the two adjacent protrusions (4e), and that beat a vacuuming target in accordance with the rotational driving of the rotating brush (4). The rotating brush is provided at a suction inlet where outside air is sucked in.
