Abstract:
Provided is an electric vacuum cleaner (30) from which a battery (50) can be effortlessly removed. This electric vacuum cleaner is characterized by: comprising a casing (10, 110) having vehicle wheels (21, 121), and a vacuum cleaner body (1, 100) having an electrically powered blower (30) and a dust collection chamber (40) provided within the casing; a battery-mounting unit (18, 118) in which the battery (50) is removably mounted being provided to the casing (10, 110); and the battery-mounting unit (18, 118) being formed in a recessed shape that is open upward and rearward in the rear part of the casing (10, 110) so that the battery (50) can be mounted or removed by sliding forward or rearward.
