Abstract:
Provided is a compact valve device that makes it possible to adjust the set length of a coil spring. A valve device 10 that has a housing 15 to which a valve seat 27 is provided, a valve body 30 that comes into contact with and separates from the valve seat 27, a coil spring 35 that impels the valve body 30, a motor 60, a gear 65 that is driven by the motor 60, a rotating member 70 that has a plurality of teeth 72 formed on an outer circumferential surface, has a space formed inside the outer circumferential surface, and rotates as a result of the gear 65 being driven, a spring-pressing member 80 that is arranged in the space inside the rotating member 70 and supports another end 35b of the coil spring 35 such that a portion of the coil spring 35 is positioned inside the space, and a spring set length adjustment mechanism that moves the spring-pressing member 80 in the axial direction in association with the rotation of the rotating member 70 and thereby adjusts a spring set length.
