Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric valve having little difference in flow rate in a minimum valve opening state and achieving high energy savings. [Solution] Provided is an electric valve, with which rotary motion of a rotor is converted into linear motion by the threaded screwing of an external thread member and an internal thread member, a valve element accommodated within a valve body being moved in the axial direction on the basis of this linear motion, wherein: the valve element is provided with a dead zone section forming a minute clearance from an inner peripheral surface of a valve port when having been inserted into the valve port; and the height of the dead zone section, having been inserted into the valve port, is configured to be greater than the height of a screw backlash section during the threaded screwing.
