Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electric vehicle and to a battery cooling method for an electric vehicle. With the electric vehicle according to the present invention, when the battery of the automobile needs to be charged without the automobile key being inserted, a control unit of the automobile is woken up and the battery is cooled in accordance with the temperature of the battery in such a way as to be able to prevent a rise in the temperature of the battery due to battery charging when charging the battery of an automobile without the automobile key being inserted, and hence to extend the life of the battery and ensure safety.
