Abstract:
This control device controls an electric vehicle driven by a drive motor unit (6) configured from an electric motor (4) and a mechanical unit (5), and is provided with: an equivalent efficiency estimation means (15) which estimates an equivalent efficiency, which is the product of the transmission efficiency of the mechanical unit of the drive motor unit (6) and the ratio of the output torque to the drive motor command torque; and an abnormality determination means (17) which determines that the drive motor unit (6) is abnormal if the estimated equivalent efficiency value is less than or equal to a threshold value.
